My name is William Chad Newsom, and I'm the CEO of Based Audio Books. In addition to producing audiobooks for the New Christian Right, I am a voiceover artist, podcast producer, writer, and musician. I have voiced a variety of projects including podcasts, promos, narrations, audiobooks, e-learning, audio dramas, and more. My wife and I have been married for 31 years and have seven children with our first grandchild on the way. I'm a writer, voiceover artist, and musician, and I've published a dozen books, including two novels and a book on JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis. One novel was translated into Turkish, and I contributed to a French language book on Tolkien. I've also directed and acted in local theater. For 13 years, I worked for a Fortune 500 company, where I taught new hires, created training materials, and wrote, directed, and performed comedy sketches for company events. As a voiceover artist, I have voiced audiobooks, podcast announcers, audio drama and dramatized audiobook characters, and an independent animated Lego film for YouTube, among others. I've provided production and voiceover services for various podcasts over the years. And I've created original podcast theme music. I live on a cabin on a hill in the woods deep in the Southern countryside.
